What are Clear Aligners?

By December 1, 2018 October 18th, 2021 Get Started

TSO doctor-directed clear aligners, sometimes called invisible aligners or clear braces, is a series of BPA-free plastic trays that you wear for a specific time in a specific sequence to gradually and gently move teeth into a straighter position.

Our clear aligners are more affordable, more comfortable, and more convenient than traditional metal braces. Say goodbye to brackets and wires and hello to a smile you’ll love with TSO.

Clear aligner therapy at TSO includes a series of custom-made aligners, worn for 1 to 2 weeks at a time to gently shift your teeth into a straighter position. This process takes, on average, 6 months. Each aligner will make a slight-to-tooth position, advancing you to the next aligner to gradually get you closer to your new smile. The tooth movements are designed by a registered practitioner who will oversee your case.  Every set of invisible aligners in your plan is shipped to you all at once.

Are clear aligners better than braces?

The answer is, they can be. Traditional metal braces typically cost more than $7000. In-office invisible aligners can even more. While TSO clear aligners are only $2830. We work with registered dentists and orthodontists through a process called remote teledentistry. Your doctor prescribes your treatment plan and oversees your case. By removing unnecessary visits to a doctor’s office, we pass thousands of dollars in savings directly on to you.

Braces correct more severe issues, including overbite, and underbite. Braces can also help treat jaw disorders. Invisible aligners work best for those with mild to moderate teeth correction, including gaps and crowding.
