How Do Aligners Work?
Clear aligners gently move your teeth into the right position using a series of custom-made trays.
Each aligner is slightly different and applies small, controlled pressure to specific teeth. As you progress through the series, your teeth gradually shift into alignment.

Aligners are not suitable for everyone or every case. They are most effective for mild to moderate cases that do not have very complex tooth movements. Yes, aligners can probably accomplish any movement eventually, but your treatment time can be significantly increased. And when you have to wear them for 22 hours a day and removed them to eat and clean, you'll want your treatment to go and as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
